ABOUT THIS SPACE

Marketing that's grown, not forced

"Good marketing is not about persuasion. It is about connection. It helps the right people find the right businesses that can genuinely solve their problems."

Marketing has been a passion of mine since I was a kid. My career path led me into web development and design first, and it turned out to be one of the best things that could have happened. Understanding how websites are built changes how you think about everything: audience journeys, the weight of a slow page load, the way a single headline can stop someone mid-scroll.

Strawberry Strategy is where I share what I have learned at that intersection. I write honestly, I keep it practical, and I have a lot of thoughts about why the best marketing rarely feels like marketing at all.

New Around Here?

Welcome, Friend

Strawberry Strategy is a space for thinking about marketing in a way that is both strategic and human. I started this blog because I believe that people who understand how things are built often have the most interesting things to say about how they are shared with the world.

Not sure where to begin? I picked the article that best captures how I think about this work. It is a good entry point into everything else here.

Good Questions

A few things people ask

My first attempt at a personal marketing project looked polished and professional, but it did not feel like me at all. I chose something that I thought I was supposed to create instead of something that actually matched my personality.

With this blog, I am excited to do things differently. I want the name, design, and overall aesthetic to reflect who I really am, not just what I thought a “professional” brand was supposed to look like. It feels more natural and a lot more fun, and much more like myself!

Anyone interested in digital marketing, web design, development, or social media strategy. It is especially relevant for students, early career marketers, and people who enjoy thinking about how digital experiences work.

I know it sounds a little cliché, but you really do have to be prepared to never stop learning! Technology evolves, trends shift, and consumer behavior is always changing. What works today might not work tomorrow.

The best thing you can do is get comfortable being uncomfortable. Growth often happens when you are figuring things out, trying new things, and adapting along the way. Don’t feel too bad if you have to learn something through good old fashioned trial and error.

I wish more people understood that good marketing is honest. Marketing sometimes gets a reputation for being manipulative or misleading, but at its core, it is about communication. Marketers are here to help businesses clearly express their value and connect with the right audience, not to deceive consumers.

The best marketing builds trust. When done well, it helps people make informed decisions and helps businesses shine in an authentic way.

I love that websites combine creativity with logic. There is something satisfying about building experiences that are both visually appealing and functional. Small design decisions can completely change how someone interacts with a brand, which makes this area especially interesting to me.

I love connecting with clients and helping them highlight what makes their business unique. There is something really rewarding about translating their strengths into clear messaging and meaningful experiences.

What I enjoy most is knowing that my work supports them. If I can help make their marketing easier or more effective, it gives business owners more time and energy to focus on running and growing their business!

Not officially. Everything here is my own opinion and my own writing. That said, I do work at Kairos Digital, and it’s where I put all of this thinking into practice. So if something here resonates with you, that’s the best place to see it in action.

Yes, through my agency, Kairos Digital in Jacksonville FL. I don’t take on freelance work outside of that, but if you’re looking for help with your website, brand, or marketing, that’s exactly what we do at Kairos! Come say hello over there and let’s see if we’re a good fit.

Yes! I always enjoy meeting others in the industry. You can connect with me through my LinkedIn.
